I've already submitted a ticket, but if someone here can help as well that'd be grand. Friends really want me to play this with them, and just can't get it to work, even after going through all the other discussions related. Cleared every bit of cache on my computer and have re installed and verified files an obscene amount of times. I've tried starting in different launch options as well. I have all my drivers updated, all my firewall and security off, no third party anti-virus. It'll sit there forever, I have 70 minutes just from that screen alone of trying. (These will pile up if I don't end them) However if I make it so I run the game as admin and launch either through steam or the folder itself it launches fine and gets stuck at the loading screen after the logo animations intro. Afterward there will be a suspend crash process of URE in task manager. If I start the game normally through steam, it'll launch the splash screen and then eventually crash. the last giant that shows up before the endless nights start has so much health and damage resistance that two players would be hard pressed to kill it in time without the right elemental weapons, leaving no time to go after the saga boss.So I've been running through a lot of troubleshooting with this game and this is what I've come down to. But with two players and its wacky difficulty scaling. If you've had a bad map/RNG, you can still pull off a win at the eleventh hour when you're playing solo. The saga difficulty scales poorly for two players, in my opinion. Solo has been, in my experience, much, much easier than co-op (2 player in particular). you have to play a very exact playstyle in order to succeed at solo saga and i dont know why you would deny yourself the social experience by doing that, seems counter productive since this is meant to be a social tower defense type game Solo is difficult and its meant to be difficult. Many people will claim solo is easy if you "get gud", but thats a ridiculous statement. IF you go in solo youre just making it harder on yourself for no real reason.
